Ira & Joe 2019

Ira and Joe’s wedding on 18th May 2019 had a wonderful mix of German and American traditions coming together to make it a fun, personal and unique day. With family travelling across the globe it was a day filled with music, great food, lots of laughter and plenty of games, there was even pie for a wedding cake! Park Farm hosted their ceremony in the Lambing Shed. Photographs courtesy of Pauly Wright Photography.

“Park Farm is a wonderful wedding venue that we would recommend to anyone, especially those who love the rustic, countryside feel. From the moment we saw it, we knew it was for us – the drive up from the main road to the farm, through beautiful fields with sheep and cows, already had us sold! The barns have a beautiful, rustic character and the outdoor scenery is simply stunning. The two barns, paddock and courtyard area (with fire pit – so cosy in the evening!) provide a diverse space for all to enjoy themselves.

Jill was incredibly helpful during the planning process: she responded to questions quickly, was flexible around our plans (including having a small event on Friday, in addition to the main event on Saturday) and provided valuable advice on caterers (Taste Events) and a florist (Jeannie Williamson). Jill and Tim did a fantastic job on the weekend of the wedding, and everything ran perfectly. The rooms and breakfast were also great!

Jeannie did an incredible job with the flowers and we can’t thank her and her team enough for making our floral ideas a reality (especially the ceremony arch!)! Andy and Katherine (Taste) were also fantastic from start to finish. It was so reassuring to have them recommended by Jill, knowing that both knew the venue well and that they would work with Jill and Tim seamlessly to make everything as planned.

Thank you for facilitating such a fabulous wedding weekend. We will treasure the memories forever.”
