Our Accommodation
Park Farm has a thriving bed and breakfast business which we make available to you over a three day exclusive hire period.
We welcome you to Park Farm and hope you feel at home during your time with us. For the duration of your stay, we offer you the use of our two well appointed bed and breakfast rooms along with a luxury bespoke shepherds hut for you and your immediate family and if glamping is more your style, we have plenty of space for hiring in bell tents or for guests to pitch their own tents. One of the bonuses of camping, are the tasty bacon and sausage baps which Jill provides the morning after your wedding. Sharing a breakfast with your guests the following day is a great way to round off the celebrations not to mention having additional pairs of hands to help pack up!
When you arrive at Park Farm to begin your wedding preparations, our rooms will be ready for you and are the ideal space to relax in after a busy day adding your personal touches to the barns. Wake up to a delicious breakfast on your wedding day served in our dining room and let the celebrations begin! You may wish to stay the night before your wedding with your bridesmaids or groomsmen and our large family room, The Granary lends itself perfectly as a bridal suite with plenty of space for hairdressers, make-up artists etc to add the finishing touches.
The Granary
Situated adjacent to the main house, The Granary is our very spacious family room. Having it’s own entrance, it’s a very private and stylish space for your bridal party to gather for your wedding and is also a lovely room should you wish to use it for your wedding night. With outstanding views over unspoilt countryside, an ensuite shower room with power shower, king size bed and pull-out double sofa bed The Granary sleeps 2 – 4 people comfortably and has additional space for a single camp bed if required.
If using Park Farm for your ceremony, from The Granary window you can see your guests arriving which lends a great feeling of excitement and anticipation to the occasion!
The Garden Room
Overlooking our beautiful gardens and with lovely south facing views, the Garden Room is situated in the farmhouse and is a very comfortable double room with a king size bed and ensuite shower room with power shower. Sleeping two, the zip and link bed can also be separated to create a twin room if preferred.
Our Shepherds Hut
Our bespoke shepherds huts are a wonderful addition to Park Farm and are sited in the Orchard amongst the avenue of ancient oak trees. ‘The Snug’ being the larger of our two huts is a very luxurious and private space often used by couples for their wedding night itself. It is a beautifully crafted 16ft Blackdown shepherds hut which is both spacious and airy and with large south facing doors and stunning views from both windows, there’s plenty of light and with a small woodburner in the corner you will always be warm and cosy. The Snug contains an extremly comfortable double bed along with ample storage space, a seating area which can be converted to provide two child sized bunk beds and a mains powered ensuite bathroom.
The smaller Kitchen hut adjacent to The Snug contains basic but perfectly proportioned self catering facilities which can be put to use if required. With a hammock strung between the trees, fire pit and barbeque, the huts offer a wonderful space in which to relax during your stay with us at Park Farm.
The huts are generally self catered but when being used for weddings, guests staying in the shepherds hut are welcome to join others in the house and enjoy a delicious farmhouse cooked breakfast.
Additional Local Information
We are very fortunate to have excellent alternative local accommodation on our doorstep. There are several large hotels situated close by which are perfect for the wider family to stay and are very accessible for local transport. Additionally there are numerous bed and breakfast, glamping and self catering cottages all within easy reach of the farm.
