Faye & Leigh 2017
We wanted to feature Faye & Leigh’s wedding held on 25th March 2017 as it was our first ever wedding to be held in The Cart Shed! Their wedding ceremony took place in their local church and Park Farm hosted their reception. It was a late March wedding and all the guests were coached in on a vintage bus which is the only way we can accommodate out of season weddings. They were so lucky with the weather, as the light was fantastic on the day and the daffodils were blooming which was a bonus. Wonderful pictures courtesy of Paul Willetts Photography.
“Wow, what can we say about our amazing wedding day at Park Farm!
I’ll start from the beginning – in the lead up to our big day Jill couldn’t have been more helpful, allowing us to come up to the farm whenever I needed to check things or bring suppliers up for a look around. One of the things that really attracted us to Park Farm was the flexibility to use our own suppliers; from caterers and bar to flowers, band and DJ. Jill was happy to support and advise whenever we needed it but really gave us the freedom to do what ever we liked. The barn is so beautiful even when its empty, but once we’d set up our tables and added the flowers it truly looked spectacular.
The rooms at Park Farm are really comfortable and felt like a home from home, we really appreciated the tea and home made flapjacks after a busy day of wedding preparation! The vintage wedding car looked stunning in the setting and the drive out of the farm on the way to the church is one of my favourite memories, it’s such a beautiful location and the scenery is incredible. On arriving back at Park Farm after our ceremony Jill and Tim had prepared the firepit to keep our guests warm in the March weather and had lit the wood burner in the lambing shed so our guests had somewhere warm to enjoy their arrival drinks. There were plenty of unique photo opportunities around the farm and we were given the freedom to go wherever the photographer suggested.
